Welcome to the Centre for Educational Development.
The Centre for Educational Development plays an important role to ensure that our staff are equipped with the most effective teaching practices that would enable our students to maximize their potential to learn and develop. We do this through running rigorous professional development for academic staff in areas like facilitation, problem crafting, assessment, curriculum design and academic research. Research is also a big part of CED as we are constantly examining good educational systems and practices to better support our students. Besides championing good teaching and learning on campus, we also run a Cognitive Processes Module for all Year 1 students.
Join us at the 5th International PBL Symposium from 15-17 March 2017. Find out more!
Academic research forms an important part of CED's identity and underpins much of our core work. Our ambition is to become the hub for PBL research in Asia.
CED offers a module that is common to all first-year students: Cognitive Processes and Problem Solving
Continual training is essential in RP to equip staff with the most effective teaching practices.
