What students learn in school today may be irrelevant by the time they graduate. Indeed, it is difficult to guess what media, advertising, and public relations will be like three years from now.
Facebook grew from 100 million to 800 million users in just three years from 2008 to 2011. The rapid growth of Facebook is just one example of how quickly change can occur in the world of communications. To succeed in this dynamic environment, people must be able to think, create, and learn on a daily basis.
The Diploma in Communication and Information Design (DCID) provides you with industry-relevant skills by presenting real-world media challenges. The programme equips you with a solid foundation in communication concepts that enables you to communicate clearly and credibly regardless of the platform.
As a DCID graduate, you can look forward to career opportunities in Singapore’s vibrant media, communications, and creative industries. You can take up roles in jobs including journalism, public relations, advertising, marketing, and events, where strong communication skills are crucial.
