The Diploma in Design for User Experience (DDUX) uncovers how great designs can enhance the user experience in profound and delightful ways. The programme is designed to equip you with highly transferable design skills to work in a variety of industries that require the ability to apply user-centred design knowledge in product, service, and spatial designs.
You will acquire the ability to create user interfaces that are sophisticated, intuitive, and a pleasure to use, and gain insights into how human-centred designs maximise interactivity.
Hands-on training to develop design thinking capabilities and hone practical design skills is an integral part of your learning experience. In addition, relevant industry attachment with design companies or organisations with design divisions allows you to gain real-world experience.
DDUX graduates can look forward to joining design teams in global technology companies strong in design culture, such as Apple, Google, Microsoft, Philips, and Samsung. They can also take on researcher roles in usability studies or aspire to become user experience designers and consultants. In addition, their skill sets also allow them to be web designers.
