    13 Sep 2012 & 18 Feb 2013 Engineering Innovation Programme (EIP) 13 Sep 2012 - Briefing to teachers
18 Feb 2013 - Introductory talk to participants

EIP is a proposed programme to engage secondary school students, focussing on engineering and innovation.

Students are to use available simple devices to engineer practical applications by means and schemes designed by them, regardless of whether such applications are commercially available or not. The expectation is that such creative actions will be sufficient to generate enough enthusiasm and interest among students, teachers and the public to enable SEG to bring the intended benefits to all parties involved. Accordingly the effectiveness of EIP is to be evaluated on the basis of the level of creative actions achieved by students, rather than any other outcome.
