The Diploma in Aerospace Avionics (DAA) will prepare you for a career in the high-tech domain of aerospace electronics. More specifically, you will learn the various aircraft instrument systems, the intricate electrical systems, and avionics systems that make flying possible. You will gain first-hand experience in handling the flight instruments and controls in an aircraft cockpit, as well as the auto-flight, communication and navigation systems, and aircraft maintenance practices that keep an aircraft safe during flight.
This diploma programme will allow you to pursue your dream of becoming a certified aircraft maintenance engineer or a specialist in the field of aerospace avionics technologies. This diploma will give you a head-start towards professional certification as the curriculum is aligned to the Singapore Airworthiness Requirements Part 66 (SAR-66), which is a licensing requirement specified by the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore.
We believe in an all-rounded approach that imparts the necessary lifelong learning skills and not just the delivery of a comprehensive curriculum. Hence, the DAA course has included the critical cognitive thinking and communication skills together with its problem solving approach into the curriculum. Core competencies in avionics are enhanced with practical sessions in all its engineering modules being offered. The cross-disciplinary modules ensure that the mechanical aspects of engineering are included as well.

To graduate with a Diploma in Aerospace Avionics, you must complete a total of 124 modular credits. You should be able to do this within three years of enrolment if you successfully complete on average five modules, or its equivalent, per semester.
