RP Freshmen Scholarships
Get ahead of your peers! Secure a Republic Polytechnic (RP) Freshmen Scholarship* even before your GCE O-Level results is released. In RP, we give deserving students a head start in life. Apart from bursaries and scholarship for higher years students, RP now offers outstanding Year 1 students the RP Freshmen Scholarship.

RP Freshmen Scholarships
The RP Freshmen Scholarships, offered by RP in partnership with industry partners and organisations, is a bond-free scholarship programme awarded to students who are newly enrolled into any Full-Time diploma programme in RP.
Eligibility
The RP Freshmen Scholarships programme is open to new students who are/have:
- Singapore Citizen;
- Outstanding GCE O-Level/Higher Nitec results;
- Excellent co-curricular activities achievements;
- Strong leadership qualities; and
- Not a recipient of another scholarships from other organisation

Tenure and Value of Award
The value of the scholarship is $2,500 per academic year.
How to Apply
RP Freshmen Scholarships application for AY2013 is now OPEN! You can now use your Preliminary results to apply for a Scholarship.
- Nov onwards: Online application using preliminary examination results
- Jan onwards: Online application using GCE O-Level results or ITE Higher Nitec results(cummulative GPA for first three semesters, before JPAE).

RP Student Leadership Programme
All RP Freshmen Scholarship recipients will be invited to undergo the exclusive RP Student Leadership Programme that aims to hone and nurture our scholarship recipients with skills that prepare them early for their career aspirations and opportunities to socialize with industry leaders, conferences, etc. Check out the details below for more information on the programme:
