Student Academic Awards

Outstanding students who excelled academically are recognised in Republic Polytechnic annually. The top students of the graduating cohort receive Board of Governors Award, Ngee Ann Kongsi Award, Lee Kuan Yew Award and Tay Eng Soon Gold Medal.

Diploma-based and module-based awards, scholarships and bursaries are also awarded to students who have done well.

BOARD OF GOVERNORS AWARD MOST OUTSTANDING GRADUATE OF THE YEAR

This award is presented to the most outstanding graduate who not only excels in studies but has performed at the highest standard and inculcated an appreciation of virtues and beliefs which RP advocates.

NGEE ANN KONGSI AWARD MOST DISTINGUISHED GRADUATE OF THE YEAR (ACADEMIC)

This award is presented to the graduate who has excelled academically throughout his/her studies at the polytechnic.

LEE KUAN YEW AWARD FOR MATHEMATICS AND SCIENCE

These awards are presented to the most outstanding graduates who have performed exceptionally well in Mathematics and Science, excelling academically throughout their studies at the Polytechnic.

TAY ENG SOON GOLD MEDAL

This award is presented to the most outstanding graduate who has advanced from the Institute of Technical Education.
