Ancient Martial Art, Young Talents
On 30 October, Republic Polytechnic's Wushu Interest Group took part in the Traditional Wushu Inter-Varsity Championship 2010. The IG's excellent performance resulted in 2 silver and 2 bronze medals.
 
 
 

School and Centre Advisory Committees

School and Centre Advisory Committees in Republic Polytechnic act as a channel of communication between industry and its respective Schools and Centres.

These committees advise the respective Schools and Centres on:

  1. the development and revision of its course curricular, including the establishment of new courses
  2. industry orientation programmes for students
  3. suitable training and development programmes for staff
  4. issues such as new and emerging technology, changing needs of the industry and employment of graduates
  5. issues such as potential joint-venture industry based projects, research centres and business enterprises
  6. possible industry sponsorship of projects related to the respective Schools, Centres and students
