Republic Polytechnic has set up two funds to receive tax deductible donations from the public for the advancement of education, namely the Student Development & Welfare Fund and the Development & Project Fund. These two funds have been conferred Institutions of Public Character (IPC) status by IRAS in April 2003 and are members of the Education Central Fund administered by the Ministry of Education. Each fund is managed by a management committee set up by the Polytechnic to ensure that the usage of the donations received is in line with the objects of the two Funds.
