Administrative Fees for Withdrawal/ Deferment/ Absenteeism

Students who have decided to withdraw or defer from the course have to complete and submit an application through this website http://myrp/scs. Depending on the date students submit the application, they are required to pay the administrative fees.

Students who submit an application to withdraw or defer must ensure:

(a) their application is completed, and
(b) thereafter receive a letter of confirmation from Republic Polytechnic on their
     application to withdraw and defer.

Absenteeism is not equivalent to withdrawal or deferment.

It is important to note that students who are absent completely from school since ‘day 1’ of the term is not equivalent to withdrawal or deferment. Therefore, students are required to pay their course fees.

Administrative fees structure dependent on period to withdraw/ defer as follow:

Students are going to be affected with different rates of administrative charges depending on the periods they submit their application for withdrawal or deferment.

The following diagram shows the important periods of an academic term  and the respective rates of administrative fees. Please note that the week of academic term in the diagram refers to the week with close reference to the academic calendar (click here).

To summarize, the administrative fees payable when students withdraw/ defer:

Week 1 and 2 of Academic Term 25% of tuition fees + annual supplementary fees
Week 3 until end of Academic Term

100% of tuition fees + annual supplementary fees
