  • Student is a Singapore Citizen
  • Student was admitted to one of the three local universities (NUS, NTU, SMU) before AY2006
  • Student had received more than one year (i.e. 2 semesters) of TG subsidy for their university course

Republic Polytechnic will charge students the subsidised tuition fees during the period when they are eligible for TG. Subsequently, Republic Polytechnic will charge students the full tuition fees for the period that they are no longer eligible for TG. The available financial schemes (if applicable) will only pay for the tuition fees after the TG subsidy.

Example: A Student who had studied at polytechnic X for 2 years (4 semester) and subsequently apply and study a 3 year course at polytechnic Y:

Calculation of TG available at polytechnic Y = 10 Semester – TG enjoyed at polytechnic X (4 semester)
