Please read these very thoroughly if you are:
A.  Non-Singaporean Students (Include Singapore PR and Foreign student)
B.  Students who have previously attended a local university
C. Students who have previously attended a local

A. Non-Singaporean Students (Include Singapore PR and Foreign student)
    In exchange for government subsidy received under tuition grant scheme, all non-     Singaporean students are required to sign a tuitiongrant agreement in which they will be contractually obliged to work in Singapore for a minimum period of three years upon graduation.

B. Students who previously have attended a local university
   Student
will be eligible for tuition grant subsidy for the semesters in their new courses in Republic Polytechnic, less the equivalent number of subsidised semesters that they had enjoyed TG previously, if you meet the following conditions:

a.    Student is a Singapore Citizen;

b.    Student was admitted to one of the three local universities (NUS,
 NTU, SMU) before AY2006;

c.     Student had received more than one year (i.e. 2 semesters) of TG
 subsidy for their university course;

d.    Student, before graduation, takes up a new course in Republic
 Polytechnic; and

e.    This policy has not been applied on the student before.

C. Students who have previously attended a local polytechnic or arts institutions
    Under this category, student shall be entitled to a maximum of 10 semesters of tuition grant, including the numbers of tuition grant students would have already received during their study previously with their ex-polytechnic or arts institutions.

    Republic Polytechnic will charge students the subsidised tuition fees during the period when they are eligible for TG. Subsequently, Republic Polytechnic will charge students the full tuition fees for the period that they are no longer eligible for TG. The available financial schemes (if
applicable) will only pay for the tuition fees after the TG subsidy.

    Example: A Student who had studied at polytechnic X for 2 years (4 semester) and subsequently apply and study a 3 year course at polytechnic Y:

Calculation of TG available at polytechnic Y = 10 Semester – TG enjoyed at polytechnic X (4 semester)
