Meet entry requirements of the course. Direct Admissions Exercise (DAE)

28 Feb 08 - 19 Mar 08

Release of DAE Result

Last week of March

Enrolment

31 Mar 08

Note

  • Please refer to the DAE website at http://myrp.edu.sg/dae/local/ for more details.
  • Students who have been awarded a place through DAE must enroll during the DAE Enrolment period. Failure to turn up for enrolment would mean that your offer is forfeited.
  • Applications through DAE will only be considered if there are any remaining vacancies after all other admission exercises have ended.
  • Selection criteria for admission into our courses are based on academic merit and the planned intake of the course.
  • For DAE application, it is likely that students who fulfill the minimum entry requirements and 2008 JAE Cut-off Points are unable to secure a place in our courses, especially with popular courses. Admission is subjected to the vacancies of the courses at the point of posting.
  • To ensure that more students are able to secure a place for polytechnic education; Students who have enrolled into a polytechnic during the 2008 admissions exercises will automatically have their DAE application rendered void as they have already secured a polytechnic seat. RP may contact other polytechnics for verification of the status of the applicant..
  • As the DAE results will be released in late March and early April, DAE applicants are strongly encouraged to plan early as they may fail to secure a place in RP.
