Joint Admissions Exercise (JAE)

To be eligible for consideration for admissions to the various courses in RP, applicants must obtain 26 points or better for the net ELR2B2 aggregate score (i.e. English Language, 2 relevant subjects and best 2 other subjects, including CCA Bonus Points*) and meet the Minimum Entry Requirements (MER) for each course. The MER have been put in place to ensure that enrolled students would have the necessary foundational competence to cope with the rigour of the course curricula and successfully  complete the course.

Note

  • Please refer to the MOE JAE website at http://www.moe.gov.sg/education/admissions/jae for more details.

  • Successful applicant will have to accept the course offered by enrolling in the course during the enrolment period. All unaccepted offers will lapse after Enrolment and the places freed up.

  • Selection criteria for admissions into our courses are based on merit and the planned intake of the courses. Admission is subjected to the vacancies of the courses at the point of posting.

Bonus Points System

Applicants who meet the MER for admissions to a course in RP and have done well in CCA in their secondary schools will receive bonus points when being considered for admissions into their chosen course of study at the polytechnics.
