JAE Appeal Exercise
The JAE Appeal Exercise is open
only to individuals who have taken part in the
recent 2011 Joint Admissions Exercise (JAE) and wish
to make an appeal either for a placement in a
diploma course or seek a transfer to another diploma
course.
Eligible appellants may appeal for a
placement in a diploma course offered by one of the five
polytechnics in Singapore by submitting an online appeal
form at the
JAE Appeal Exercise application portal.
An appellant may make many amendments to his/her appeal choices during the appeal
period. However, only the latest submission will be
processed.
All previous postings received under
the JAE will be revoked should the appellant be successful in
his/her
JAE appeal Exercise. Appellants are allowed to keep their
previous JAE postings only if they are unsuccessful
under JAE Appeal Exercise. Therefore appellants are
advised to consider their choices very carefully before
submitting an appeal under the JAE Appeal Exercise.
To be eligible for consideration for
admissions to the various courses in RP, appellants must obtain 26
points or better for the net ELR2B2 aggregate score (i.e. English
Language, 2 relevant subjects and best 2 other subjects, including CCA
bonus Points*) and meet the Minimum Entry Requirements (MER) for each
course. The MER have been put in place to ensure that enrolled students
would have the necessary foundational competence to cope with the rigour
of the course curricular and successfully complete the course.
For eligible appellants who wish to
seek professional advice regarding academic contents or prospects of
their interested courses, they may approach RP at the stipulated data
and time below for course counselling. We have dedicated and experienced
counsellors who will provide you with invaluable advice necessary in
assisting you to make the right choice for your appeal.
