The Hokkien Yeo Sze Fund is
offering Bursary Awards for Y2009 to meritorious and/or
needy students who are children of the citizens or
permanent residents of Singapore with the surname
Yeo/Yan irrespective of dialect groups, to enable them
to pursue their education in the Universities and
Polytechnic in Singapore. |

Eligibility Criteria |
- Applicants should be Singapore Citizens and referred by
a VWO or a medical social work department in a hospital.
Referring VWOs/hospitals need to provide social report and
supporting documents to justify the application
- Applicant should be from low-income families, that is,
families with monthly per capita household income less than
$1,000, who need help to pay for the needed
services/equipment
- The percentage of subsidy is tiered based on monthly per
capita household income and capped at a maximum of $5,000
per annum

Eligibility Criteria |
- Students who have physical disabilities
and studying full-time mainstream schools
- Students must be either Singapore Citizens or Permanent
Residents
- Students must be successful in their final or semestral
examination and about to proceed to the next level of
education
- Students' gross total household income must not exceed
$3,000 a month
- Students must not be receiving any scholarship or
bursary from any other organisation or education institution
- Students who have only visual or hearing impairments but
no physical disabilities are not
eligible to apply.
