    Overview 

    The Direct Admissions Exercise (DAE) is open to applicants who are not eligible to apply under the following exercises:

    • Joint Admissions Exercise (JAE)
    • Early Admissions Exercise (EAE)
    • Joint Polytechnic Admissions Exercise (JPAE)

     Eligibility  

    QUALIFICATION TYPE  WHO MAY APPLY? 
    Singapore Cambridge GCE 'O' Level
    • Holders of Singapore-Cambridge GCE O-level who missed the minimum entry requirements but have obtained a net ELR2B2 aggregate score of 26 points or better
    • Holders of Singapore-Cambridge GCE O-level who are not eligible to apply for courses under the JAE
    • Singapore-Cambridge GCE A-level holders may apply using their Singapore-Cambridge GCE O-level results
    • Former/current polytechnic students seeking re-admission to the polytechnic
     
    ITE (NITEC/Higher NITEC)
    • Current cohort of full time ITE students with final semester results or ITE upgraders who possess strong aptitude and passion through evidence of awards of achievements, portfolios, work samples, testimonials and recommendations
    • ITE certificate holder
    • Former/Current polytechnic students seeking re-admission to RP
     
    Integrated Programme (IP) / International Baccalaureate (IB) Holders of following qualifications from local institutions
    • Integrated Programme (IP) Year 4 (or Secondary 4 equivalent)
    • Graduated with International Baccalaureate (IB)
     
    Singapore Cambridge GCE 'A' Level Holders of Singapore-Cambridge GCE A-level
    International Qualifications Singapore Citizens/Singapore Permanent Residents who hold international qualifications

Interview is an additional assessment to evaluate applicant’s suitability for the diploma courses. Admissions to RP is finally based on academic merit and available vacancies at the point of posting.

    *Applicants who wish to appeal for the DAE result can submit an application via the DAE application portal from 31st Mar 2017, 10am until 10th Apr 2017, 2pm.

    Singapore Cambridge GCE 'O' Level 

     
    Singapore Cambridge GCE O-level applicants who did not meet the MER but achieved a net aggregate of 26 points or better may be called up for an interview for further assessment. The interview will be conducted by the lecturers, on a case-by-case basis, to evaluate the applicant’s eligibility to be admitted to the courses in RP.
     
    Shortlisted candidates will be assessed on their suitability for entry to all their course choices first and may be considered for courses beyond their course choices.
     

    NITEC/Higher NITEC

    Shortlisted candidates who participated in the ITE Holistic exercise may be called up for an interview for further assessment. The interview will be conducted by the lecturers, on a case-by-case basis, to assess candidates based on other criteria (such as passion, aptitude) for admission to the diploma courses.

    Shortlisted candidates will be assessed on their suitability for entry to all their course choices first and may be considered for courses beyond their course choices.

    Returning SC/PR with local or international qualifications 

    Shortlisted candidates who have applied through the DAE may be called up for an interview for further assessment. The interview will be conducted by the lecturers, on a case-by-case basis, to assess candidates based on other criteria (such as passion, aptitude) for admission to the diploma courses.

    Shortlisted candidates will be assessed on their suitability for entry to all their course choices first and may be considered for courses beyond their course choices.

    Application Guide 

    • Each applicant should only submit ONE (1) application. RP reserves the right to invalidate your application should your application be incomplete or if you submit multiple applications.
    • Please indicate your FULL NAME as in your NRIC, Passport or National Identity Documents.
    • Ensure that you register with a valid email address as all correspondences and notifications will be sent through your email address.

    Enrolment

    Applicants who are successfully offered a placement in RP are required to complete their enrolment processes to formally register themselves as an RP student.
