No entrance or admission test is
conducted by Republic Polytechnic. However, each
applicant is required to sit for International
English Language Testing System (IELTS)
and to arrange for the scores (Academic
Reading
and
Writing
Modules)
to be directly forwarded to the polytechnic at
the mailing address given below. For more

Applicants who do not
possess IELTS scores may submit other forms of
documents(e.g.TOEFL) as evidence of their
proficiency in the English Language.
4)
All applications need to
be submitted online. There is no application
fee. No physical applications will be accepted.
Applications are to be submitted by applicants
only.
5)
All
applicants are required to complete the
following procedure in order to have their
applications duly considered.
Stage 1:
Request online for a password. This password
will be sent immediately upon receiving the
request to the email address specified by the
applicant. The same email address will be used
by Republic Polytechnic for all subsequent
communications with the applicant.
Stage
2:
Login using
the password assigned, and complete the online
application form.
6)
Scanned electronic copies of relevant academic
certificates and specified pages of the passport
need to be embedded in the online application
form. The original documents will be verified at
the time of enrolment in March 2009. Applicants
who have submitted misleading information with
their application forms are liable to be
disqualified.
7) Offers will be made to successful
applicants periodically on the dates indicated
below. Any applicant may check the results by
logging to his/her account created at the time
of submitting the application form.

8) Your
chances of success in gaining admission will
depend on the strength of your qualifications
and the number of places available in each
diploma.

10) Applicants who receive an offer from
Republic Polytechnic will be given a one-month
period to confirm their intention to enroll at
the polytechnic for the Academic Year 2009 by
making a non-refundable advance payment of
S$1,000/= towards their first semester tuition
fee.
11) Applicants who receive an offer from
Republic Polytechnic should make arrangements to
obtain their visas or travel documents to enter
Singapore for their enrolment.
12)
Applicants, who prefer to take up the tuition
grant from the Singapore by signing a three-year
bond which they will be contractually obliged to
work
in Singapore for a minimum period of 3 years
upon graduation, will need to pay only
S$3,150.00* per annum as tuition fees which
exclude the per annum supplementary fee.
Others shall pay S$S$15,076.30*
per annum as tuition fees which excludes the per
annum supplementary fees.

13)
All students admitted to the polytechnic on the
basis of non-Singapore qualifications are
required to maintain a Grade Point Average (GPA)
of at least 2.00 (out of maximum possible 4.00)
during their first two semesters at the
polytechnic in order to continue their studies
at the polytechnic.
