It is advisable for students
studying in RP to open a bank account in
Singapore. This is especially important because
RP encourages electronic payment.
To Open
a Bank Account
There are different types of savings and
checking accounts offered by the various Banks
in Singapore. Generally, the following
supporting documents are needed to open a bank
account:

2. Student Pass or letter of offer from RP

|
3. Student Card

|
4. Money
|
The three local leading banks in Singapore
are DBS, UOB
and OCBC. You can check for
