Student Wellness

To ensure that holistic wellness of the students is preserved, various initiatives and programmes have been undertaken to make life at RP more engaging and enriching for all.
A motivational talkshow, “Against All Odds”, was held on 3 October 2006 to highlight that resilience indeed can be taught and learnt. Mr Cyrano Latiff, the co-pilot in the October 2000 SQ006 crash in Taiwan, shared with students his valuable experiences in living through the traumatic incident.
As part of Smoking Awareness Week, an interactive drama entitled, “Puff puff, you’re dead” was put up to heighten awareness of the campaign. RP also supported student-fronted activities such as the ‘Vote Against Litter’ on 28 and 29 October 2006, where youth activists hit the streets of Singapore to protest against littering. Other events included the ‘CAN’ Art! project during the Launch of Clean and Green Week, where students put their creativity skills to the test to save the earth.
