Amy is a pioneering graduate of Nanyang Technological University’s School of Communication Studies. Having had a passion for gadgets, gizmos and oratory since young, it was only natural that she chose to major in Electronic and Broadcast Media. She dived right into the local broadcasting scene upon graduating with honours, and joined the then-Television Corporation of Singapore as a Current Affairs producer. During the course of her career, she has produced a variety of programmes that cover business, political and social issues, as well as technology and lifestyle features. One of the original ‘cast members’ of Channel NewsAsia’s Current Affairs team, Amy knows first-hand the excitement and challenge of starting something completely new. Now she hopes to infect her students with the desire to boldly go where no one else has gone before.
