Desired Expertise

We are looking for two candidates qualified to degree level, minimum, with significant experience in educational research, training and the practice of educational theories. One of these posts will require at least 8 years of research experience.

Research Statistics Specialist
  • Degree level, minimum, with particular expertise or qualifications in the use of statistical software and methods to support research.
Candidate Profile

We are seeking two applicants who have an excellent working knowledge and practical experience of using qualitative and quantitative research methodologies; have significant experience in educational research, training and the practice of educational theories and; are willing to mentor less experienced staff in undertaking research within the Centre.

In addition to the above, we are looking for a research-oriented person with particular expertise or qualifications in the use of statistical software and be willing to provide broad-based support to the Research Team.

Academic Staff

The Centre for Educational Development is looking for enthusiastic professionals and leaders in the field of education. Candidates should share our PBL philosophy of learning and teaching that embraces self and communal awareness, depth of understanding and ownership of learning.

Candidates should have a good degree and a desire to teach at a tertiary level. Besides facilitating students using the RP-Problem Based Learning approach candidates may be required to implement staff development initiatives and provide internal consultancy to academic staff and management on the trends & developments relating to tertiary education. Candidates should have some working experience or interest in one or more of the following areas:

  • educational philosophy
  • use of multimedia in education
  • staff development and training
  • teaching and learning strategies and curriculum design
  • design of student assessment, and/or
  • educational research

Candidates who have strong background in education and research will be considered for leadership positions.

Fresh graduates who are highly motivated and enjoy intellectual engagement are also invited to apply.
