Office of Human Resources - Assistant Director/ Senior Manager
You will be responsible for:
- Planning and managing the HRM and HRD functions at Republic Polytechnic
- Spearheading the development of strategies and new initiatives to develop, motivate and retain talent
- Leading new people management initiatives for Republic Polytechnic at both strategic and operational levels
- Managing day-to-day HR operations, including manpower forecasting and planning, budgeting, compensation and benefits, learning and development, employee engagement, staff welfare, performance management and organisational development
Requirements
- Good Degree with at least 8 years of broad-based HR experience.
- Good management and leadership skills, preferably with 3-5 years in a supervisory capacity.
- Excellent interpersonal and writing skills, and able to influence and work well with people at all levels.
- Proven ability to multi-task and to manage multiple projects and priorities within tight deadlines, as well as work well both strategically and operationally.
- Track record in formulating and implementing new initiatives, particularly in complex, change-driven organisations.
- Strong personal initiative, pro-active, resourceful and a good team player.
- Must be IT-savvy.
- Prior experience in the public sector preferred.
