Office of Human Resources - Assistant Director/ Senior Manager

You will be responsible for:

  • Planning and managing the HRM and HRD functions at Republic Polytechnic
  • Spearheading the development of strategies and new initiatives to develop, motivate and retain talent
  • Leading new people management initiatives for Republic Polytechnic at both strategic and operational levels
  • Managing day-to-day HR operations, including manpower forecasting and planning, budgeting, compensation and benefits, learning and development, employee engagement, staff welfare, performance management and organisational development

Requirements

  • Good Degree with at least 8 years of broad-based HR experience.
  • Good management and leadership skills, preferably with 3-5 years in a supervisory capacity.
  • Excellent interpersonal and writing skills, and able to influence and work well with people at all levels.
  • Proven ability to multi-task and to manage multiple projects and priorities within tight deadlines, as well as work well both strategically and operationally.
  • Track record in formulating and implementing new initiatives, particularly in complex, change-driven organisations.
  • Strong personal initiative, pro-active, resourceful and a good team player.
  • Must be IT-savvy.
  • Prior experience in the public sector preferred.
