Senior Executive

The Senior Executive will contribute in the following areas:

  • Promote the Public Service Change Movement (PS21) in Republic Polytechnic
  • Drive innovation initiatives, facilitate change management and provide administrative support
  • Be part of project teams leading to Business Excellence certifications and any other initiatives spearheaded by the department
Job Requirements
  • A Degree in any discipline with at least 2 years of working experience
  • Good project management and administrative skills, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Initiative to suggest and implement innovative approaches to achieve greater buy-in and engagement from staff
  • A keen eye for details with strong writing and communication skills
  • Prior experience in driving PS21 initiatives and/or Organisational Excellence is an advantage

Senior Executive/Assistant Manager (Business Excellence)

The Office of Quality Assurance and Systems (OQS) is seeking for a suitable candidate to support its expanding function. The main responsibilities of the candidate involve supporting the OQS in project managing Republic Polytechnic's ISO standards certification and Business Excellence initiatives.

The candidate is expected to be able to work well independently and in a team to prepare RP for the ISO audits, coordinate with the relevant departments to ensure that appropriate audit follow-up actions are taken and facilitate compliance with legal requirements. The individual is expected to be a change agent to help the Polytechnic establish a safety conscious environment. The candidate will concurrently support OQS in managing its Business Excellence initiative in relation to 4 focus areas: Quality, Innovation, Service Excellence and People Developer.

The candidate should possess the ability to work with management and staff from across different Departments.

Requirements
  • Good degree from a reputable university, preferably in the fields of engineering, business or statistics
  • Preferably with at least 3 years of working experience
  • Have an interest in supporting Business Excellence (i.e., Singapore Quality Class, Innovation Class, Service Class, People Developer) and Quality Assurance (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001. OSHAS 18001) initiatives; relevant experience in these areas would be an advantage
  • Strong project management and people skills, preferably with experience in supporting organization-wide projects
  • Good speaking and writing skills
