Research Engineer

Job Description
We are looking for a capable and responsible individual to work on an R&D project to develop a portable hydrogen generator and fuel cell system.
The candidate must be well-versed in the area of vacuum technology, including RF Magnetron Sputtering. The project will require him/her to do part of design and fabrication of a portable hydrogen generator, growth process optimisation, basic materials characterisation (SEM, TEM) and fuel cell testing.
Successful candidate will be working with an experienced team and will need to interact with industrial collaborators regularly.
The successful candidate will be placed on a three-year contract, renewed on a yearly basis.
Job Requirements- MSc/MEng/BSc/BEng in Applied Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science and Engineering or equivalent
- Specific experience in development, operation and test of fuel cell stacks, systems, components and fueling subsystems (PEM) is strongly desired
- Self-motivated, resourceful and a good team player
