School of Technology for the Arts
The School of Technology for the Arts (STA) at Republic Polytechnic is committed to nurture professionals who possess imagination, artistic capability, and an understanding of the importance of story in creative expression. The school's focus is to help each individual develop creative processes that are unique and original, and the ability to combine art and technology to express ideas effectively.
The STA educational experience begins with a broad-based core of modules that provide a foundation in contemporary arts from a regional perspective. Diploma specific modules will subsequently develop relevant expertise for professional placement, further education, and continued personal development.
The school currently offers five diplomas to support the development of the creative industries in Singapore.
