Winning entry for Sling Design Studio

 

The Sling Award and Marketing Week

CIE organised a competition for all RP students, in partnership with True Blue Heritage Brew Pte Ltd (THB), the holder of the patent for Singapore Sling Original Mix. THB was looking for fresh ideas to launch a ready-mixed bottled cocktail drink in 2009. Over 2000 student participated in this competition which saw 75 entries and 1500 voters.

National Pushcart Challenge 2008

The National Pushcart Challenge was the opening event for the inaugural Global Entrepreneurship Week that was launched in Singapore officially on 18th November 2008. Students from 22 secondary schools participated in the Pushcart Challenge and recorded more than $22,000 in sales revenue in the 2-day competition.

Young Aspirers Club - "Christmas Comes Early"

The inaugural Young Aspirers(YA) Pushcart Competition added buzz to RP with its "Christmas Comes Early" event from 25th to 28th November, which kicked off the Christmas shopping season.

InVogue IG Recyclable Fashion Show

In collaboration with the National Environment Agency (NEA) to promote Clean and Green Singapore, InVogue IG staged a series of shows on recyclable-fashion in November 2008 to educate the public on how every day materials can be created into fashion items.

Students at the PaTH Market at Vivocity

Social Enterprise IG at VivoCity

Over 2 weekends in December 2008, more than 200 Social Enterprise IG students worked with social enterprises such as Movement for the Intellectually Disabled of Singapore (MINDS) and Singapore Association of the Visually Handicapped (SAVH) at the Bazaar in VivoCity's Pop and Talent Hub Market. Together with the organizer, the Social Innovation Park, students helped to set up stalls and sell products made by the disadvantaged.
