This outreach talk is
opened to existing DIEM
students, secondary
school students and
parents interested to
find out more about
career opportunities in
events management.
Speakers include Mr
James Tan from the
Singapore Tourism Board
(STB), and Mr Lloyd Tan
from Zenith Events.
There will also be a
short ceremony to
present awards to the
three recipients of the
STB-DIEM Scholarship,
the first industry-based
scholarship offered by
STB to events management
students.

JIVE’s
campus-wide
event, Kick'It!
07, aims
to
spread the
awareness of the
Yellow Ribbon
Project to
students and
teenagers and to
reduce the
social stigma of
ex-convicts from
the public by
promoting soccer
as an example of
healthy
lifestyle and
raising funds to
support the
project. The
two-day event
will comprise of
a Qualifying
Round and a
Kick’it 07
Final.
