The market research laboratory is a first-in-class laboratory setup to support R&D and extra-curriculum activities in RP. The laboratory aims to serve a number of functions:
- To enhance current academic curriculum by allowing students to experience laboratory research work.
- To provide students with the necessary equipment, resources and platform to further explore more and larger-scope industrial projects.
- To support current and future R&D projects in RP and staff development.
- To build RP’s reputation in research competencies and increase collaboration with industry.
With 2 fully equipped focus group rooms, 2 observation rooms, a computer laboratory, and a physiological testing centre (including eye tracker, face reader, EEG, ECG and GSR), the marketing research laboratory will provide CIE staff and students with the necessary equipment, resources and platform to further explore more and larger-scope industrial projects.
Not only will the laboratory offer invaluable hands-on experience to RP students taking the various modules offered by Centre
for Innovation and Enterprise (CIE), CIE staff can also utilize the laboratory to hone with research skills, obtain more in-depth training on the use of high-tech equipment as well as the opportunity to network and collaborate with industry players.
