Entry Requirements (GCE 'O' Level Holders)

To be eligible for consideration for admission to the course, applicants must obtain 26 points or better for the net ELR2B2 aggregate score (i.e. English Language, 2 relevant subjects and 2 other best subjects, including CCA Bonus Points) and meet the entry requirements as shown below. CCA cannot be used in meeting the minimum entry requirements.

What are the Cut-Off Points for this course?

The Cut-Off Points for DBIO vary with the cohort.

I am interested in the Diploma in Biotechnology course, but I am quite weak in my Sciences. Is it advisable for me to enrol in this course?

It is advantageous but not a requirement to have a strong science background in order to enrol in DBIO. The core basic sciences concepts will be revisited in the first-year programme. If you have a strong interest in this course, coupled with a good learning attitude, we are confident you will excel!
