Diploma in Customer Relationship and Service Management

Graduation Criteria

In order to graduate with a Diploma in Customer Relationship and Service Management, you must satisfy the modular criteria set by the school. Students should be able to do this within three years of enrolment, if they successfully complete five modules, or its equivalent, per semester.

How the Modular Structure Works

Modules at RP fall into three broad categories: as can be seen from the course structure. These consist of Core modules, Elective modules, and Freely Chosen modules. To satisfy the requirements of the Diploma, you must select a certain number of modules out of the range offered in each category. These are summarised in the following table:

Core Modules

Year 1
Covers common core broad-based modules such as Cognitive Process and Problem Solving, Communication Practice, Enterprise Skills, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Financial Accounting, Basic Sciences and Mathematics.

Year 2
Focuses on modules that inculcate mindset, build knowledge and skill set relevant to understand customers and the environment that customers operate such as, Customer Relationship Management, Service Quality and Professional Etiquette, Strategic Thinking Skills, Market Sensing and Intelligence, Hospitality and Tourism Management, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Sales Management; and Business Statistics.

Year 3
covers modules that specialise in the domain areas of customer relationship and service management such as Consumer Psychology, Account and Client Management, CRM Methodology and Applications, Service Management, Customer Fulfillment Management, Contact Centre Operations, Public Relations and Media, Management Accounting, Retail Management; and Project Management and Scheduling.

Elective Modules

Apart from the Core modules, you also need to take a number of Electives offered by the School or Centre. Elective modules are designed to broaden your understanding of the growing field, and to complement knowledge acquired in other parts of the programme.

Freely Chosen Modules

One of the 30 modules you will take in total can be freely chosen from the entire range of modules offered at RP.
