Singapore Tourism Board (STB) Scholarship

The Singapore Tourism Board (STB) Scholarship for the Diploma in Integrated Events Management offered by Republic Polytechnic (RP).

STB Scholarship is established in Year 2006 and offered to outstanding Republic Polytechnic students pursuing Diploma in Integrated Events Management only.

With wider opportunities to be exposed to private sector plus the prestige of a government scholarship, candidates can look forward to a unique and exciting route to becoming a tourism professional.

Candidates must be serious and passionate about a career in the tourism industry upon graduation.

The scholarship covers the following:

• Tuition Fees imposed by Republic Polytechnic (after Tuition Grant)
• Other compulsory school fees imposed by Republic Polytechnic
• Monthly allowance of S$500.00 (subject to a yearly maximum of S$6,000.00) during the Permitted time to complete the Course stated in the Terms and Conditions of the scholarship.

Application Procedure
First-year students will be informed of the application procedures towards the end of the second semester of AY08/09. Interested students should maintain an average GPA of 3.5 and above in the first semester, in order to be favourably considered for the scholarship.
