Diploma in Game Design (R35)
Graduation Criteria
In order to graduate with a Diploma in Game Design, you must satisfy the modular credit criteria set by the School of Technology for the Arts. Most students should be able to do this within three years of enrolment.
How the Modular Structure Works
Modules at RP fall into a few broad categories:
General modules, Discipline modules, Specialisation
modules, Freely Chosen modules and Industry modules. To satisfy the requirements of the Diploma, you must pass the number of module credits indicated in the following table.

ModulesThere are General, Discipline and Specialisation modules.
General modules aim to ground you in generic skills such as cognitive process, linguistic and entrepreneurial skills, as well as equip you with a foundational knowledge of culture, technical communication and skills for personal development.
Discipline and Specialisation modules focus on developing your knowledge of the field of arts, game design and its relevant technologies.
Freely Chosen ModuleOne (1) of the modules you take can be freely chosen from the entire range of modules offered at RP. |
