Diploma in New Media (R19)
About the Programme
Singapore is one of the most wired countries in the world. Web sites, blogs, social networks, mobile interactivity, and online gaming, shopping, and advertising are commonplace. The Government has identified the Creative Cluster (arts and culture, design and media) as one of the growth industries of the future, and is actively developing the country into a global centre of excellence for the arts, culture, media and design. The potential for Singapore to excel in this area is enormous.
Our Diploma in New Media has been designed to prepare you to meet this challenge, with a focus on personal creativity and technical competence, through hands-on learning and our own brand of problem-solving, and with industry internships and the development of a strong personal portfolio.
The hallmark of a DNM graduate is the ability to apply artistic training to industry problems, actively seeking answers to New Media challenges, and thinking and creating in unique, original, and effective ways.
