Welcome to the online Republic Polytechnic Placement Services for Employer site. Republic Polytechnic(RP), the fifth polytechnic in Singapore, set itself apart in its education system by adopting a unique Problem Based Learning approach (PBL). PBL is an approach where learning is driven by a problem. In today fast moving and emerging economy, the realities of having to tackle with problems as they arises and the ability to respond fast to the unanticipated developments is very crucial.

In Republic Polytechnic, students do not learn simply through the accumulation of knowledge. PBL approach allows our students to learn by doing. It encourages our students to develop their own knowledge by actively engaging the real-world scenarios in their course of study (See available RP diplomas). And by bringing the realities of the workplace into their learning environment, our graduates are more equipped with the necessary skills for the challenges posed in today’s workplace and in our fast growing knowledge-based economy. .
