Pro Tools 101: Introduction to Pro Tools
The Pro Tools 101: Introduction to Pro Tools covers basic Pro Tools principles, giving you everything you need to complete a Pro Tools project, from initial set up to final mixdown. This course focuses on Pro Tools software and covers a multitude of new functions and feature enhancements. Whether your project involves recording of live instruments, MIDI sequencing of software synthesisers, or audio editing or region looping, this course will equip you the basic skills to succeed. Pro Tools 101 is more than just an introductory course – it is a thorough exploration of the essential skills of being a Pro Tools user. Participants can expect a highly engaging and participative training programme that leverages on the innovative use of Digital Audio Workstations.

Target Audience
This programme is suitable for anyone who is keen to gain substantial exposure and hands-on knowledge on Avid’s Pro Tools platform. This programme is particularly relevant for music or post production students, professionals and hobbyists.

Certification
Examination Policy: a) Examination Attempts: Students are given two attempts at the online examination for the course they have completed. b) Examination Grade: Avid sets a 90% passing grade on each of the online examinations. Once a passing grade is achieved, you are then eligible to proceed to the next level of Avid Training and Education Program. c) Examination Location: All Avid examinations must be taken at an Authorised Avid Training Partner facility, Avid Certified Training Location (ACTL) - Republic Polytechnic, Singapore. d) Examination Environment: All examinations are to be taken under full examination conditions. Students are not allowed to refer to books and/or devices.
