DM01 - Electronic Music Production Showcase

 The Republic held its first Electronic Music workshop
DM01 at the Library on Friday, 10 October 2003. The
Library was again, the scene of the crime this time,
as the hum and aura of electronic sounds filled the
Republic's soundscapes.
Local electronic music artiste Nathaneil Paul was
invited by the Centre for Culture & Communication
to share with the Republic's students some tips and
tricks of producing electronic music live on drum
machines and synthesizers, a break away from the
convention of spinning with turntables. Nathaneil
Paul's workshop was engaging and highly interactive;
many students had an opportunity to try out the drum
machines that our guest brought along.
