RP Student receives NYAA Gold Award

Li Yijun, a student from the School of Applied Science, was recently awarded with the National Youth Achievement Award (Gold), the highest standard in the series of NYAA awards. Yijun was lauded for his efforts in helping the intellectually disabled
community towards training for the Special Olympics World Summer Games held in
Dublin, Ireland in June 2003.

Yijun is pictured at the awards ceremony on the left with his ex-teacher from Swiss Cottage Secondary School.

Yijun is also the Treasurer of the RP Sports Club management committee, and the vice leader of the recent Youth Expedition Project to Cambodia.
