The newest kid on the block is also the fastest on the block!

RP made a huge impact by clinching 4 Golds and 2 Silvers at this year’s ITIS-NUSS Track and Field competition. Held on 16th Jul 2005 at the Temasek Polytechnic, our young, amateur staff athletes overcame the wet weather to beat the other veteran teams in the mixed relay, woman’s relay, long distance as well as the shot putt event. Despite our team’s inexperience and lack of professional training, their determination and unbending will to win kept their spirits high throughout the entire competition. And this made all the difference as our athletes came up from behind in several races to eventually emerge first and second places. Indeed, as the saying goes, it’s the heart that really matters in winning a race.

The brave RP Team:

  • Sundar W S
  • Wendy Chia
  • Janelle Koh
  • Lin Tze-Ing
