RP Touch Rugby Shines Again!!

Republic Polytechnic’s touch rugby team
emerged as the plate champions during the recent National Touch Rugby League.
RP beat the favoured and experienced Bedok Kings by a massive 9-nil margin.
Being the only polytechnic in the league,
RP earned the respect of the other club teams & referees alike during the
tournament. Having made great improvements each week, the team was able to
defeat many formidable opponents. Despite being the youngest team,
RP managed some convincing wins over opponents who have beaten us in the
past. The team's unity and teamwork demonstrated throughout the tournament
was perhaps the winning formula. With promising young blood in the squad, the
future certainly looks bright and promising for the touch rugby players of RP.
