It's not the destination but the journey that matters - Operation Fun

Part 1 | 2 | 3

Mr. Lee welcomed the contingent and went up the mound with Prof. Low and deputy principal Mr Eden Liew, to await Jonathan, President of the the Biking IG, who was on a unicycle, to complete the final leg of the flag planting ceremony. After Prof Low and Mr. Lee gave their speeches, the crowd cheered on to the joint sounding of horns by Prof Low and Mr. Lee, which marked the official move of RP to its new Woodlands Campus.

There was free food, drinks, ice-cream, t-shirts, caps, bags, folders, soft-toys and more for everyone who attended the event. Besides the freebies, the dunking machine was another popular draw at Operation FUN. Staff were dragged, (yes, literally dragged) onto the dunking machines to be dunked. It didn’t matter if they were men or women, academic or administrative staff, prepared or not, nominated or not. As long as a request surfaced, he / she had to be on the dunking machine ready to be dunked. And all the staff who got dunked took it in their stride. Some taunted the students and laughed when they missed. Mr. Chang York Boon, an academic staff, had both his legs on the dunking machine and even though the student hit the dunking machine, he did not fall into it.
