Inter-Stat Board 5.8km Cross Country Race

2 teams from Republic Polytechnic (RP) represented us in the
Inter-Stat Board 5.8km Cross Country Race on 29 July 2006 (Saturday) held at
Temasek Polytechnic. Teams from 19 Statutory Boards in the civil service took
part in this event.
The RP ladies' team made up of staff Khin Hnin Soe, Cindy Chua, Lam
Shu Ci, Chua Wei Lin and Reeta Rama, were highly competitive and their diligent
training obviously paid off.
The RP men's team was placed an impressive 3rd in the Men's Open overall team
standings. This team, also made up of staff from various departments, included Kadir Yusop {captain}, Ang Wah Khim, Edmund Tan, Hafidz Abdullah, Looi Wah Mun and Renesh Boss.
A bonus for RP was when Renesh Boss emerged as the Men's Open winner with a blazing run that swept the field.
