The DREAMS of a Leader workshop was conducted on 7th
October 2006 for nominated
student leaders of RP. The workshop offered a refreshing change to the usual
lecture-style ones as the programme included a variety of simple yet meaningful
activities conducted throughout the day.
As participants, we were engaged, not as representatives
of all the different clubs in RP, but rather as student leaders of RP. Through
attempting to synchronise movements of all participants, form four squares while
being blindfolded, and eventually, hopping from mouse pad to mouse pad, we
gained a better understanding of leadership.

were also introduced to the different ways of being a great leader.
We left at the end of the day with the realization of the
importance of coming together to achieve a certain goal, not only to lead our
respective clubs or IGs, but working as Young Republicans.
The workshop was organised by OSG and
coordinated by The Student Ambassadors.
