The Republic Cultural Centre (TRCC) opens its inaugural concert on 16 March
2007 to magical sounds from the Singapore Symphony Orchestra (SSO).

Mr. Darrell Ang, Conductor Laureate of the St. Petersburg Chamber Philharmonic and co-founder of the St. Petersburg Chamber Philharmonic, weaved magic with his wand and enchanted the audience to excerpts from Tchaikovsky’s popular Nutcracker and Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone with talented violinist Ms. Selina Tang.

The auditorium seats were filled up with enthusiastic audience from the community, staff and guests of RP. They gave
a resounding applause to SSO
for their moving renditions. Mr. Darrell Ang further charmed the audience with
his witty narration. It was a memorable evening for the community.
