Symposium on "Advances in Technology Education 2007"

Hosted by Temasek Polytechnic, this symposium is the first to be jointly
organised by Republic Polytechnic, Singapore Polytechnic, Temasek
Polytechnic and the Federation of National Colleges of Technology (FNCT)
in Kyushu and Okinawa, Japan.
It is held from 20 to 21 September 2007.
The aim of this symposium is to provide
a platform for educators from the organizing polytechnics and FNCT to
share their experiences in practice-based technology education, both
locally and in Japan.
Participants will gain insights into innovative
teaching methodologies and approaches used to conduct and deliver
technology-related programmes in polytechnics and colleges.
During the 2 days, participants will get to hear and see 40 paper and
poster presentations and interact with the authors from Japan as well as
local presenters.
The symposium is ideal for curriculum developers and
educators.
