Republic Polytechnic (RP) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Parkway Group Healthcare on 23 July 2007 at The Republic Cultural Centre (TRCC) VIP Reception. This MOU was initiated with the intention of introducing a wide range of certification in areas of Nursing and Allied Health.
28 distinguished guests from Parkway Group, including Dr Lim Cheok Peng, Managing Director, Parkway Holdings Limited and Mr. Richard Seow, Chairman of Parkway Group Healthcare, attended this significant event. Witnessed by Mr. Richard Seow, and Mr. Eden Liew, Deputy Principal of RP, the MOU was officially signed by Dr Lim and Professor Low.

With this partnership, RP will have advanced diplomas and specialist diplomas to both students and working adults in Allied Health programmes; these encompass Medical Imaging and Pharmacy Management and Practice.
In addition, Parkway Group Healthcare and RP have plans to collaborate with Monash University’s Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences, Australia, on degree programmes for nursing.
Prof Low added, “Through partnerships with industry leaders, RP aims to establish its commitment to provide a holistic education and an engaging learning experience for students.”
