Project Organic Garden - A Local Service Learning Project by RP's Nature IG

On 17 and 18 December 2007, 7 students (6 SAS students + 1 SIT student)
volunteered their time to build an organic garden for residents of
Sunlove-Marsiling Neighbourhood Link. This local service learning project was
organized by RP’s Nature Interest Group (IG).
Students cleared the planting plot, constructed the planter edge and planted 15
species of local herbs and spices.
Through this community project, our students expanded their circle of friendship
and learnt how to organize and manage people. Above all, they learnt the
importance of working as a team.
