1st IVP Medal For RP Women's Table Tennis Team

The Republic Polytechnic women’s table tennis team clinched bronze medal in the recent IVP table tennis competition held in early January. We fought long-time powerhouses,  Nanyang Polytechnic, for 3rd placing in the finals. Before the match, our players were relaxed and happy as this was our best performance so far (we had never made it to the table tennis IVP semi finals before). Our players just wanted to enjoy themselves. Surprisingly, they performed even better and ousted Nanyang Polytechnic for 3rd place by 4 – 1.  Quite an incredible result!

Thanks to all players who went all out to attain such good results. We would also like to thank our coach for his astute judgement and the various techniques he imparted to us.
