RP Archery IG won Gold Medal

NUS Indoor Archery Open Championship is a two day competition held on 14th
and 15th of June 2008. 7 archers, 4 males and 3 females, participated in the
'Standard Open' and 'Recurve Close' categories.
After a fierce competition from other tertiary, institutes and clubs, one of our
female archer, Lek Boon Sian, rose above the rest and clinch the first
place in the 'Standard Open Female' category. She scored a total of 476 points
out of 600 points. In the 'Recurve Close' category, another RP female archer,
Khoo Choon Mei Winnie, won the Bronze medal for this category. Congratulations
to the two of them.
Although our boys did not clinch any medals, but they had performed their best
and had gained valuable experiences.
