Renewal of the MOU with Parkway College (Singapore) on 6 Aug 08

Principal/CEO of Republic Polytechnic (RP) conveyed his appreciation to
the Parkway team for their efforts and informed them that he is aware of the existing MOU between RP and Parkway College
(PC).
He is pleased to renew the existing MOU and is supportive of the collaborative initiatives to offer SD and AD programmes in Nursing/Allied Health and related areas.
Ms Nellie Tang was grateful with the arrangements, and conveyed her
appreciation to RP on behalf of Parkway College of Allied Health and Nursing, Singapore. She did a comprehensive presentation,
with an overview of the Parkway Education organisation structure and the proposed Parkway Colleges in the region.
There are 3 schools in the Parkway College in Singapore, namely, School of Nursing, School of Allied Health and the School of Healthcare Management.
A wide range of courses will be launched within the next 2 years, comprising Diplomas, Advanced Diplomas (AD)/ Specialist Diplomas (SD), Degrees in Nursing and Allied Health related areas.
RP and Parkway College are currently offering 2 programmes: AD in Pharmacy Practice (ADPP) and SD in Healthcare Education.
She also suggested that we can explore more of such programmes to be jointly offered.
Parkway College (Singapore) is also exploring advancement pathways for their Diplomas into Degree programmes
- Hertfordshire University (UK) for Pharmacy and Monash University (Australia) for Nursing.
RP will continue to work with the Parkway College of Allied Health & Nursing to provide more
diverse further education options for our graduates.
