RP Wins Distinguished Home Team Partner Award 2008
On 13 November 2008, Mr. Eden Liew (Deputy Principal) and Mr. Anderson Lim (HR Director) represented RP at the Home Team National Service Award Presentation Ceremony 2008 held at the Swissotel Merchant Court Hotel Ballroom.
Graced by Guest-of-Honour, Mr K. Shanmugam, Minister for Law and Second Minister for Home Affairs, this prestigious event gathers Home Team NSmen’s employers that have made significant contributions to enhancing the safety and security of Singapore together for a night of inspiration and celebration.
This was the first time RP sent in an application for this award and it was announced at the Home Team National Service Award Presentation Ceremony that Republic Polytechnic won the Distinguished Home Team Partner Award. This award serves to accord recognition to and celebrate the Home Team NSmen and their employers’ joint contributions towards National Service with the Home Team. The recipients of the award have shown unwavering support for their employees' National Service obligations.
Mr. Eden Liew, Deputy Principal of Republic Polytechnic, received the award on behalf of RP. RP is dedicated to ensuring that our NSmen obtain the support they need as they continue to play their part to keep Singapore safe.
